Each model has its own instructions

Save the manual, part number and purchase documents. They can help clarify appropriate cleaning products, storage guidelines, and maintenance schedules. The general instructions do not replace the requirements for a specific model.

Be especially careful to check the instructions for regulators, computers, and battery-powered flashlights. The rules for handling them vary.

After sea water

Clean salt from equipment as directed by the manufacturer. Use only approved means and methods. Do not open sealed assemblies or battery compartments unless instructed to do so and unless you are prepared to do so.

Allow equipment to dry in suitable conditions before packing. Avoid prolonged heat and direct sun unless the manufacturer allows it.

Storage and transportation

Keep the mask in its protective case, do not bend the blades of the fins or place heavy objects on sensitive parts. For a computer and a flashlight, check the rules for storing rechargeable or disposable batteries.

Before traveling, check the condition of external parts and the availability of necessary accessories. If damage is found, contact service before use.

When to contact service

If there is a malfunction or doubt about the condition of the equipment, contact a specialist. The maintenance schedule is determined by the manufacturer. Don't replace it with advice from general internet discussion.

Write DiveSpace the model, serial number if necessary, and a description of the problem. Please clarify in advance whether the service accepts this particular model, the timing and cost of diagnostics.
