Choose the destination, then the itinerary
Boat trips to neighboring islands and more distant destinations in the Andaman Sea are organized from Phuket. Phuket's official information lists the islands of Racha, Phi Phi and Similan among its diving destinations. These are different routes: check the departure point, boat journey time and the format of the trip.
Racha Yai and Racha Noi are different islands. Don't choose a program just by its generic name "Racha". Specific dive points and their suitability for your training are discussed with the dive operator.
Similans - a separate trip
The Similan Islands belong to the marine national park. Trip arrangements, route availability and visiting rules depend on current conditions. Please check official park information and organizer confirmation for your dates before booking.
Do not transfer the conditions of a regular trip from Phuket to a trip to the national park. Inquire separately about transfers to your departure location, permits, fees, and what is actually included in the price.
Questions before booking
- What are the exact route, meeting point and return time?
- What training is required and how does the operator confirm it?
- What is included in the program: transfer, equipment, meals, support and fees?
- How does the route change when the weather changes and what are the cancellation conditions?
- What sizes and models of rental equipment are available?
The destination description does not guarantee conditions on a specific date. The final decision on the route and program is made by the organizer, taking into account the current situation and the preparation of the participants.
