Fit is more important than model name
There is no universal mask that is equally comfortable for every face. Start by trying on: the silicone skirt should fit smoothly, and the frame should not put pressure on the bridge of the nose and cheekbones. If you choose remotely, tell the consultant about the mask you are currently using: what is comfortable and what you want to change.
Do not try to compensate for an improper fit by over-tightening the strap. If possible, compare several frame and skirt shapes.
One lens or two
Compare the field of view of specific models, not just the design. Double-lens masks sometimes have optical lenses installed - this needs to be checked for the exact part number. Check compatibility and the ability to order the lenses you need before purchasing.
Sheer and black skirts look different on the face. It’s better to try on both: the choice depends on comfort and personal perception of light.
Check the kit
- A box or protective case for transportation.
- Band type and availability of suitable replacement.
- Compatibility of lenses and accessories specifically with your model.
- Availability of the selected color and specific article.
In the catalog, masks and spare parts are located nearby. Check the product name: the frame, skirt or strap is not a complete mask.
Before first use
Preparation procedures and acceptable cleaning products vary depending on the lens and coating. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your model. If it is not available, request it at the time of purchase before using abrasives or chemicals.
